I have a super-simple but beautiful starfish art craft for you today, that will hopefully warm you up from the winter blues… the best part is, is how inexpensive and EASY it is!
Here is what you’ll need to make your own Starfish Art:
Starfish (if you don’t live in an area where these are easily accessible, try looking them up on amazon or eBay!
Frames (DOLLARSTORE, YA’ll!!)
Take your frame apart to get the mat out! Use this to cut out burlap roughly the size of the mat.
Once you have your burlap cut, use your hot glue to attach it to the mat.
Put your frame back together to see how it looks, cut off any access. From here, you want to decide if you want your frame to be vertical or horizontal to attach your starfish. Once you’ve decided, place your starfish as you’d like it and hot glue it. I find that hot gluing the ‘legs’??? of the starfish to be the best for adhering to surfaces.
You’re done. Seriously. It’s that easy, and looks SO cute.
We used ours to dress up a little wall underneath a space-heater, but I think this would look REALLY sweet in a group of three!
This is such a simple craft but could make such an impact in larger groups with different types of seashells and fans. Imagine a group of 9! This is also ideal for small bathrooms or little spaces that could use a little extra something something!
Remember to pin for later!
