New name and some changes

Well. Hello there!

I don’t exactly know where to start this post because I’ve been gone so long. I know I said I was back before (sorry!), but I think quite frankly I needed more time away from the blog to look within myself after so many huge changes occurred in my life. Where have I been? I’ve been in school where I am working toward a business degree. I know, right?!

Why? The internet can change at the drop of a hat, and I don’t want to rely on anyone else but myself to be comfortable in the future if anything happened that would affect my income. This in my opinion is the smartest move for me as a single young woman in my early twenties who has dreams of travelling the world. So far, I’ve learned a lot that can help me improve my blog. As you may have noticed, Nest of Bliss is now Brandi Sawyer! This was a change that came about after talking to some teachers and learning about how I can be more connected to you guys. Something that scared me before, but I’m ready to put more of myself and my life into this blog. ๐Ÿ™‚

YES, I do plan to start posting again! I have a bathroom makeover coming up that I’m very excited to share with you! Along with the new name and look, posts will be a little different now too as the topics will be a bit more vast and of course interiors will not always be my own but rather family and friends’ homes. I’m sorry if some of the style and changes don’t suit my previous style of the farmhouse, but I’m on my own now and am a full-time student… I’m no longer a young housewife and I think pretending to keep this website the same, with the same style, was making me neglect it… my life and soul has gone through so many amazing and positive changes, and this website is an extension of who I am – so it’s along for the ride, too.

I have big goals for 2015! I’m so sorry I missed out on Christmas posts this year, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years with the ones you love most!

See you soon! (I promise)
