It’s mid-December already – someone PLEASE tell me where that time went? It’s absolutely crazy!
As a child it seems like this month drags on forever, but when you grow up you want this month to coast as slow as possible (or, at least I do anyway)
Today I’m off to the malls to buy gifts for friends & family… wish me luck! 😉 Before I head off I thought I would share with you all our coastal Christmas tree this year…
As we do every year, we decided to go with a coastal theme (much like the rest of our home) I know it’s not for everyone, but it expresses my style and I love it!
I made the tree skirt last year and was so happy to pull it out again this year.. I am a sucker for canvas material and ruffles!
I was sure to take some photos of it lit up in the evening…
I love snuggling up with a coconut hot chocolate, just taking in all of the beauty this season brings.
Our ribbon we used is a roll of burlap. I “made” a similar one last year, but was able to buy a great big roll this year. I was a happy girl!
I also managed to find some realistic faux dried hydrangeas for the tree. They look great and help bring some warmth to the coastal theme.
I can’t get enough of the starfish and sand dollars…
Here’s our Reindeer Christmas Mantel all lit up at night – It makes us feel so cozy and comfortable.
I hope you enjoy our tree this year!
Do you have your tree up yet? Do you decorate with a ‘theme’ in mind?
