It may be somewhat uncommon, but I LOVE Thursdays. Thursday means tomorrow is Friday, and I don’t mind Friday one bit. 😉
If you follow me on Facebook, you may know that last weekend I was working on a DIY project for a chandelier for my foyer renovation. I found a fabulous tutorial online and it turned out beautifully!
Today I’m going to show you 7 Amazing DIY chandeliers (Including the tutorial I followed) as well as show my finished project to you!
Scroll through to the end to see which chandelier I chose!
(Remember to Pin these chandeliers from the source, and you are of course welcome to Pin the chandelier I made!)
Recently Roached replaced their light fixture with this beautiful burlap light fixture! What a simple solution!
Bliss at Home gave their light fixture an amazing makeover and great update with greek key trim.
I just love the light tones and beading of this gorgeous light from Simply Salvage – I may have to give this one a try!
Gus and Lula created this chandelier this wood bead chandelier after seeing inspiration from a reader. I just love the wooden beads!
That House on the Corner created this Pottery Barn knockoff for a fraction of the cost! Jeff and I were actually going to make two of these for our dining table before we came across the Restoration Hardware knockoff we have now. 🙂
This cork chandelier from Max and Fodder gives me all kinds of cork lighting inspiration… oh the things you can do with corks!
I adore this old world style chandelier from Design Salon Online!
Aren’t those all fantastic projects? I have to say, I was doing a LOT of beading over the weekend after I decided to follow Gus and Lula’s tutorial! This is also the first peak of the foyer on the blog!
A big thanks to the Lamp Shop for sending me the washer tops for this project!
What do you think? Do you think it suits our new blue foyer? I’m still trying to get accustomed to having colour in our home. I’m a neutral girl for sure, but Jeff really wanted some colour in the house, and blue is my favourite after all.
Have a great day!
Remember to ‘Pin’ to come back later!
